as we yet again come into a challenge of human nature, desires, and struggle – it’s a war within. Your feelings are offended, your heart is seeking, and your mind is searching. But yet, the seen doesn’t reflect anything yet hopeful. The truth hurts, but oh how I am grateful for a God who will hurt our feelings just to save us from ourselves. Oh how we serve such a God who knows even WE will look back and be grateful In such ways. I had a good brother in Christ of mine remind me of a very very necessary thing we must do when we can be flooded in desire – but yet to guard your heart. If you ask me, I – have not been doing or done that, unfortunately. i’ll admit it’s not easy to keep our imagination within a parameter of holiness even at times, it’s just not. But, the bible has given us every single thing that we need for the entire course of our lives, so no excuses. Guarding our heart is necessary from pain, from I imagine mistakes, from lost hope, from a wondering soul even.. if it isn’t in or of God, then nothing is going to turn it into a yes. It isn’t easy when it doesn’t happen overnight either, your feelings still kinda eh and on the fence. Well, to die to yourself is to gain, to find life, and much more than our way, hands, or sin could ever. When you truly put into perspective how much we need God and how we go hand in hand perfectly (thank u Jesus!) then like yeah, intimacy, trust, a foundation is built more and more. it makes me just now think about how many times i’ve struggled with too easily making My King out to be someone he just isn’t, like my earthly father for example. it’s hard, our minds are like imprinted and known to the things of which it has seen or known, yk. But Lord, introduce us to NEW and true things. God is never going to be like anyone we’ve ever known in our own physical lives. He is His own beautiful – I genuinely can’t put Him into words, but wow – Might must I say. He Alone Is God. Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. Man Jesus baptize me, something is so rich about the Holy Spirit and man like I heard someone say recently may I NEVER get the taste of His goodness out of my mouth, but may it stay. THAT RIGHT THERE. Wow. I’m not losing a thing gaining Christ, I’m not missing on nothing knowing that IN HIM I AM found, not only found but made whole, new, and redeemed. AMEN! I honestly need to remind myself I am redeemed from my past. It’s a story that holds power, but not over Christ Jesus! Thank you so much for finding me God, you really are just the best. I know that I am where I am meant to be and this man will come a meet me whenever the time is right. The Lord will make it happen, and Glory oh Glory to God for such a thing.
